Combat Pocket Tees (CPT) Mk1 - Order Info

Post  Gear Whores Anonymous on Mon Jan 02, 2012 9:28 pm

Finally got around to getting these made. They will be made using an "American Apparel" Made in USA t-shirt in color "camel". Closest color I could get to the original seen in the "A-Team." I myself at least didn't want a light tan shirt since they get dirty and grimy way too quickly. Not to mention it looks better with issued Multicam.

The 2 images below are for reference. The color of the shirt will be as shown on the top shirt "camel." However, the pockets and velcro will be in coyote brown, not khaki and tan as pictured. The OD shirt below shows you how the pocket will be look like, disregard the black velcro and Marpat. Notice the pen holder. *Note pen holder will be on the left shoulder only, not both.

These shirts as mentioned above are inspired by the movie "The A-Team", Colonel Smith was wearing one on base in Iraq. I wanted something to wear that would be comfortable and nothing is more comfortable than a soft cotton tee. Why not just wear a tee? Well, at the same time I would want a more "tactical" look. Enter the pockets and velcro. Consider it a casual tactical look. Casual shirt with tactical pockets and velcro.

These shirts are being made from scratch specifically for me using raw materials and not surplus pockets. Because of that I don't have an image of the Mk1 complete.

Specs:

-American Apparel, Made in USA tee in Camel.
-2 pockets, 1 on each shoulder. Generous amount of storage.
-Left side pocket will have a pen / pencil holder.
-Coyote brown velcro on both pockets. Generous amount for patches.

Pricing:

Shirts will be $45 including domestic shipping. If you're international it will cost an additional $15 for Priority Mail.

For the pre-order I will not require everyone to pay in full. Instead I will ask for a $5 deposit. These are custom made and want everyone that wants one to get one in their size. ETA on the shirts are 3-6 weeks, again custom work takes time but it will be worth the wait. I'm very excited to get these made for all of you!

If you'd like to pre-order with a deposit and guarantee yourself a shirt please send $5 via PayPal to gearwhoresanonymous@gmail.com and be sure to put in the comments section what size you'd like, S, M, L, XL, or XXL. I need to know sizes within 48hrs or by January 5th, 2012. After that you can still pre-order but sizes aren't guaranteed and once sizes run out they're out. If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me at the same address above or via forum PM.

*Sizing note. The American Apparel tees are fitted. They are not skinny or slim fit but rather more fitted. Similar to that when you get a suit made. When I made the "Major League" shirts everyone jumped to the bigger sizes worried that it wouldn't fit. I personally don't like baggy clothing and if you're the same then order the same size you normally wear. If you like baggy or looser clothing then size up.

**Deposits will be non-refundable, these are being custom made for you

Are these shirts still for sale? If so, these shirts are made on a special order basis? Meaning you don't keep any "in-stock" so to speak?
