Helikon-Tex Gunfighter Soft Shell Jacket
Helikon-Tex makes a lot of different style jackets and a few soft shells. Instead of going for the more basic model I went towards their flagship model which would be the "Gunfighter." The Gunfighter features a shark skin type of soft shell material which is much more weather proof and stretchy. I've seen this material on various other jackets before and am quite fond of it.
Notable features:
-Dual arm pockets w/ velcro
-Stowable hood
-Shark skin soft shell
-DWR treatment
-Chest and forearm pockets
-Available in Black, OD, Foliage, Tan

Forearm has an extra layer for additional durability

Forearm pocket is mesh lined

They also feature a headphones port

Shot of the hood, which is stowable via zip compartment

Plenty of adjustment, whether through the inside of the chest pockets, back of the hood, or in front

Back of the jacket features a stash pocket, ideal for gloves or similarly sized accessory

The inside of the jacket is fleece lined but it's a very fine and soft fleece lining. Nothing I've really seen before. Very cozy

Inside of the back stash pocket, ample space

Shot of the inside tags

And finally, the water test

The DWR treatment combined with the shark skin material makes this jacket quite water repellent

Video shows how the water simply does not bleed through
The thing that took me most by surprise about the Helikon-Tex gear is that they fit perfect. The length, width, it was just right. Surprised me because international sizing is usually always a little off. One thing though that I found a bit off was their tan color, it was a very strange combination of green, brown, khaki. Nothing what I'm used to at least. Would be nice to have seen a more true and mainstream coyote color.
Pros:
-Fit is true to size
-Very good DWR treatment
-Shark skin and lining makes the jacket very comfortable to wear
-Stowable hood
Cons:
-Made in China
-Green-ish tan-ish coyote
