In my vast gear cache there are very few pieces of gear which I absolutely can't live without. The Force 10 cargo pants is one of them. At this point in my vast gear collection I've tried (almost) every pair of tactical pants the market has to offer and nothing really comes close. Now when it comes to clothing a lot of it comes down to personal preference, especially when fit is considered. Instead of me babling about how much I love these pants, let's continue.

Notable Features:
-Made in USA
-Available in Grey, Green and Brown
-MSRP of $119
-10 total pockets
-Knee pads capable (sold separately):

The review will be on the green pants (I also own them in grey, they're that good)

We'll start with the rear. The rear pockets use button closures. As simple as these look and yes they're just a pair of pants BUT you have to admire the style. Every angle, the placement of pockets, etc..

As you'd expect from a TAD product, quality and craftsmanship

TAD's signature style is the double d-rings and 2 front pockets. The 2 pockets accommodate an AR15 magazine perfectly. On a side note, I decided to photograph the pants wrinkled, fresh from a wash for a reason. It added to the ruggedness of the pant. Since I got them they've been through the wash a dozen times. They've seen a lot of use

The plastic d-rings are ideal for keys or any other accessory. I will add that my older TAD pants came with a ITW US made plastic ring, these however have Woojin ring. Not a bad ring persay but I definitely noticed the change. I'm a sucker for small details, remember?

Like I mentioned above, the 2 front slash pockets hold an AR magazine perfectly. They also accomodate a cell phone, even a large one like a Galaxy Note

If you're reading this review then odds are you carry a knife on a daily basis. If that's the case then you'll appreciate the reinforced hand pockets

Button closure with zippered fly, the way it should be. Note the button has their logo. Small details....

If it's a tactical pant odds are there are cargo pockets. These are no different. I like large cargo pockets, at least big enough to accomodate gloves and other large utility items

Note the angle of the lid and opening in the middle

Button closure all around on these. When you open the pocket you'll also notice anohter d-ring, great for leashing gear in your cargos

The inside of the pockets also feature...more pockets! Great for organizing what you have floating around in the pocket. Remember that opening you saw previously? That makes an ideal opening for longer items such as rulers, a hammer, etc

Every piece of TAD apparel you buy (well almost) comes with a Tiny TAD patch. Now they are even color matching. Green pants gets a green patch, grey pants gets a grey patch. If you don't want to be a logo whore, they're removable

Reinforced knees which also can accommodate knee pads (sold separately)

Bottom is complete with standard drawstring which is iconic with the cargo pant

If you're a fan of TAD then odds are you already own a pair of their Force 10s and you probably don't need me to tell you how great they are. From design to an excellent fit, these have it.

Now for the nay sayers, I also know what you're thinking, a pair of pants for $120? That's crazy! And for that I will leave you with this quote "The Bitterness of Poor Quality remains Long after the Sweetness of Low Price is Forgotten." Not to mention these are proudly made here, in the USA, not imported like the majority of other tactical pant manufacturers.

Simply put the TAD Force 10 is an adventure classic, if you're on the fence about a pair..don't be. You will NOT be disappointed.

Pros:
-Made in the USA
-Fit
-Finish
-Pockets galore
-Durability

Cons:
-Not available in Black, seriously? Come on..
-Would like to see them bring back the US made d-rings (I know now I'm just being anal)
